About the Conference

The conference has concluded. Thanks to all of the speakers, participants, and supporters who made it a wonderful week!

The Vanderbilt Colloquium Series on Groups, Geometry, and Dynamics brought together leading researchers and emerging scholars to explore the rich interactions between group theory, geometric structures, and dynamical systems. It was held during the week before the start of the 2026 International Congress of Mathematicians in Philadelphia, as an official satellite conference of the congress.

Plenary speakers:

Plenary speakers gave colloquium-style talks, giving broad overviews of their areas of expertise, including the latest developments. Others were invited to give 5-minute lightning talks.
